Please may I have more?
There are some days when you just have to eat and eat and eat that darn elephant, I suppose it is best roasted, well done and a ridiculous portion is served. It's like the old cliche "when it rains, it pours". You see my little elephants challenged the coffee table, not once but several times, and you know what? The coffee table won......repeatedly. Because of the coffee table's numerous offenses, my little elephants had to have some ivory removed from their mouths today, only I got to pay for it. It was truly heart breaking sitting on my 2 year old so he couldn't buck and create more harm to himself as his broken tusks were torn from his tender mouth. In another room next two his the 4 year old elephant started to trumpet her distress. I realize it had to be done but I was hoping for a breath between tusk extractions, 2 and 4 year old gummy smiles are not as appealing as an infants toothy grin, especially when it is tear streaked and my chest was raw from my heart being torn out. I really don't care for placing the little ones on the table to be served up to life's pains. oh well at least jello, popsicles and pudding can help. I WOULD RATHER HAVE MORE SWEETS ON DAYS LIKE THIS ONE.
