There's mud in your eye...

Sometimes, I take comfort in the fact, that when you are in a torrential downpour of sorrow, crisis, stress and pain, all you have to do is pull your face out of the mud and look up
(hopefully the rain will have settled down enough that you don't drown that way as well...but I digress).
You pull your face out of the dirt, wash it in the fresh rain and start to look for silver linings in the clouds....
a prayer at this time couldn't hurt either. How did you get in the mud lying face down like that anyway?
Quite possibly similiar to how my 2 year old does....
throws himself on the ground and cries because he didn't get his way.
Overwhelmed, upset, heartbroken,or one more stupid mistake made. Don't we all feel better after a good cry,a tantrum, a cookie and a nap?(CHOCOLATE)
Not only should one pull themselves out of the mud after such an impromptu mud bath and facial, but then try and enjoy a few mud pies.
It's not always about lemonade and lemons, life can be about getting dirty and enjoying it. Sooooo....... as I said before what a comfort to know that after I pull my face and heart out of the mud, if I look up I can go on to have some good clean fun.
